Can’t Hurt Me: Master Your Mind And Defy The Odds

This is an autobiography of a man named David Goggins. I listened to the audiobook, and it was quite amazing. I won’t spoil anything here. I will say that this man suffered so much, overcame it, and pushed himself further than many of us can even imagine. It really makes you think what we are actually capable of and how much we short ourselves because our mind tells us to quit. He said that he found a new world on the other end of suffering. I don’t know why suffering makes us better and seems to enlighten us in ways; however, in order to truly live, we must suffer and push ourselves past our limits. He had a beautiful quote that I can’t quite remember, but it was about being torn down to nothing, and finding inner strength – finding more.
